‘Through The Lens’: Workshops & Exhibitions

Our partnership with the Maharashtra State Faculty Development Academy (MSFDA) helped us share our vision with educators and learners across the state.
We held workshops for university faculty and students, teaching photography as a way to self-reflect and examine social issues.
Workshops at Nagpur University led to a unique on-campus exhibition.
At Sonopant Dandekar College, participants captured hidden stories within academic settings. Participants shared that the workshops helped them connect their cameras to their thoughts, turning photography into a powerful tool for storytelling and change.
Faculty members also participated in an exhibitions, using photography for self-reflection and to explore themes like politics, gender, and caste within institutions.

In collaboration with the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Committee, we held a workshop in Jalandhar.
This hands-on workshop taught young people and journalists from underserved communities how to document their surroundings and share local stories.
Participants learned to use photography for advocacy and representation.

On World Photography Day, we reaffirmed our commitment to making visual storytelling accessible to everyone.
The year started with a solo photography exhibition by Sudharak Olwe, ‘Lavani—a Traditional Dance of Maharashtra’, celebrating cultural heritage.

PPT Masterclass at Karjat

Our second annual Masterclass brought together photographers, journalists, and creative minds for three days of learning at the PPT Centre in Karjat. Participants explored the ethical and emotional aspects of social documentary photography.
Captured through the lens of our masterclass participants – glimpses of village life, seen with fresh eyes and heartfelt perspective.
