Photography Promotion Trust in collaboration with Parcham Football Academy and in association with Jolly Art Adda, we’ve launched our very first community photography workshop!Happening every Saturday for 24 weeks .This initiative is all about nurturing creativity, amplifying local voices, and capturing untold stories .
Presented by Photography Promotion Trust & Gandhi Films Foundation. Curated by Sanjay Nikam “Mumbai Unseen” was a special photo exhibition that showed rare black-and-white pictures of daily life in Mumbai. The photos captured the city’s streets, people, and spirit through forgotten and unseen moments. Curated by Sanjay Nikam, the exhibition gave viewers a fresh and honest look at the real Mumbai.

Unlocking Global Pathways in Higher

Education

Photography Promotion Trust, in collaboration with Eklavya India Foundation, hosted a seminar on global opportunities in higher education. The session covered studying abroad, scholarships, and building strong academic and career paths.
Prerna Deshbhratar (I.A.S.), MD of LIDCOM, inspired students to dream big, while founder Sudharak Olwe spoke on the empowering link between art and education.
Key speakers included:
Bose Krishnamachari (President, Kochi Biennale Foundation) on cultural exchange and studying abroad
Santosh Kshirsagar (Former Dean, J.J. School of Art) on creative exploration
Vaishnavi Pawar (Social Impact Strategist) on scholarships and global academic guidance The session reinforced a shared mission: making education accessible, inspiring, and transformative.

Cinema That Thinks, Feels, and Questions

In a remarkable evening of cinematic reflection and creative exchange, Photography Promotion Trust, in collaboration with Jolly Art Adda, hosted the renowned film historian and theorist Mr. Amrit Gangar- The mind behind Cinema of Prayoga.

From Spine Surgery to Strokes of Emotion

Photography Promotion Trust shared the journey of Dr. Manoj Singarakia, a spine surgeon who became a full-time artist. His paintings are inspired by his medical work and show the strength of workers, caregivers, and everyday people.Each artwork is full of feeling and tells a story of courage and care. Through this exhibition, the Trust showed how art can heal, create understanding, and bring change.

Learning Through Play: Board Game Workshop

Photography Promotion Trust, in association with Jolly Art Adda, held a Board Game Workshop for children aged 10 to 13. In this fun and creative space, children designed their own games while learning to think, collaborate, and use their imagination.
The workshop proved that play can be a powerful way to learn, explore, and grow.

Each workshop helped people connect, create, and enjoy art together.Through Studio LUMIA and Jolly Art Adda, we continue our mission to create inclusive, accessible spaces where art and education become powerful tools for empowerment and social connection.
