The Art of Seeing Photography Workshops (Kota, Rajasthan)
We teamed up with WNCB India and photographer Sudharak Olwe to teach children in Kota about photography. They learned to see their surroundings differently, tell stories with pictures, and understand basic camera skills.
Capacity Building Workshop — Budhpura Village 2021
Working with WNCB India, we used photography and videography to help children in Budhpura Village express themselves and build confidence. They learnt how to take photos and videos and engage in helpful feedback.

Pin Hole Photography Workshop (Delhi, Mumbai & Kolkata)
We hosted a three-day workshop in three cities where artists, writers, and filmmakers explored pinhole photography. They used special cameras to capture their cities and learnt how to develop their own films [this is before the onset of DSLR cameras] . Some of their work was featured in Samyak Drishti magazine.
“0 KM” — Farmers’ Protest Photo Documentation (National release, with contributions from 15+ photographers
‘0 KM’—Photo Story of the Farmers’ Protest
To mark India’s 75th year of Independence, we released ‘0 KM’, a powerful photo collection documenting the historic farmers’ protest. This project, launched by renowned South African photographer Omar Badsha, and featuring many Indian photographers, is an important visual record of a major grassroots movement.
Printmaking and Etching Workshop (Karjat Art Centre)
At our Karjat Art Centre, we held a three-day workshop on printmaking and etching. Artists learned traditional and modern techniques like etching, engraving, lithography and screen printing from experienced mentors like Charandas Bhagwan Jadhav and Kumar Pandurang Misal.

Art Residency Program and Live Demonstration (Karjat)
We hosted an Art Residency Program in Karjat, led by Sanjay Nikam (from Sir JJ School of Art). Artists could join for 3, 5, or 6 days, focusing on drawing, painting, and working with materials like oil, acrylic, and charcoal. The program also included a ‘live’ demonstration by renowned artist Anil Naik and a ‘Nature’s Trail’ session. Participants got to practice their art in a peaceful natural setting, connecting with their creative work.
Photography On Wheels (Aurangabad)
In memory of Nilesh Gawde, our core member, who we lost during the pandemic,we organised ‘Photography on Wheels’ in Aurangabad. People learned photography while exploring the historic Aurangabad Caves, helping us make photography accessible to more communities. This was held in collaboration with @colours.of.Aurangabad.

Exhibitions and National Conference (Aurangabad)
We took part in the National Conference on Dalit Rights in Aurangabad, bringing together leaders and activists to discuss equality. Afterward, Sudharak Olwe’s exhibition at MGM University showcased powerful images of marginalized communities, showing how photography can create awareness and change.
Exhibition and Talk at Mahatma Gandhi Mission University (Aurangabad)
We also held an exhibition and talk at Mahatma Gandhi Mission University, encouraging discussions about photography and visual storytelling among students from different fields.
